A brooch/pendant by Cartier — the Parisian house long called "the jeweler of kings". Worked in 18-karat yellow gold weighing 14.14 grams, 1980's.

Set with 16 round brilliant diamonds of 0.20 total carats (G-H color, VS1–VS2 clarity), eight cabochon sapphires of 1.00 total carats, two carved carnelions, two carved chalcedony, and a freeform onyx.
