A Chevron of Sapphires, in Yellow Gold
Sapphire, cabochon cut, 0.80 cttw, VS1-VS2 clarity

An estate ring from a private collection, 1960's, in 14-karat yellow gold weighing 9.40 grams.
At its heart, a cabochon opal of 4.00 carats, framed by eight round brilliant diamonds of 0.40 total carats (H-I color, SI1–SI2 clarity).
Opal — October's birthstone — was named by the Romans the 'stone of many', prized above all others for holding every color of the spectrum within a single gem.
Ring size 7.5 (US), resizable on request. Held as a single example — one of one, and impossible to repeat. A natural choice for an October birthday. Reserve a private viewing, in person or by video, with a VERANE specialist.
